The Little Book where financial confidence begins
Your Little Book of Verve helps you clear mental clutter, reconnect with your values and build the mindset needed for financial confidence. Start here.
Most people think financial confidence starts with numbers. Budgets. Goals. Plans. Maybe a spreadsheet you promise yourself you’ll ‘get to one day’.
At Verve Super, we see something different. Before women and gender-diverse people can build confidence with money, they need space. Space to think clearly. Space to reflect. Space to reconnect with what actually matters to them, not what the system tells them should matter.
That’s why the Little Book of Verve exists. And why it’s the very first step in the Verve Learn → Money Mindset journey.
Clear the noise
The Little Book of Verve isn’t about money. And that’s exactly the point.
It’s a visual, interactive workbook designed to help you:
slow down
reflect on where you’ve been
take stock of where you are now
reconnect with your values
set intentions for the future
Before anyone can make confident financial decisions, they need headspace. Financial anxiety is linked to burnout, self-worth, boundaries, identity and energy. The Little Book creates a chillout zone, not a war room, encouraging you to write, draw, scribble or type your way back to clarity.
It meets you where you are. One exercise, some, or all of them. No pressure, no perfection, just whatever feels right.
From reflection to clarity, purpose and confidence
The journey kicks off with a review of the latest chapter in your life. We’ll zoom forward with one eye in the rear-view mirror, acknowledging your wins, lessons, surprises and grief from the past year to ground you in the space where you can move forward.
If we don’t process what’s already happened, it can show up later as hesitation, avoidance or self-doubt (especially around money) so these exercises help you quietly learn, acknowledge and move towards growth.
Next step is a full-life check-in: of your work, money, energy, relationships, creativity, learning, home and self-worth. You’ll gauge how supported, rested and resourced you feel… which can be satisfyingly cathartic as it is, but also contributes to building financial confidence, which is what Verve Learn is all about.
How your values shape your decisions
One of the most powerful sections guides you to identify what really matters to you. Is it justice, freedom, community, growth, safety, joy, or something else? Exercises are designed to help you define what those values look like in your real life.
And how they influence your money mindset. Mini Money Moments throughout the book ask simple but confronting questions:
How does your money line up with your values – or doesn’t it?
What beliefs are running the show when it comes to work and money?
What financial decisions have made you feel empowered?
We’re not here to fix anything yet, just help you notice – to pause with intent, reflection and build the foundations for change.
From intention to action
Flowing effortlessly on to boundaries, energy leaks and burnout, we look at how time, energy and money can quietly drain away through guilt spending, late fees, over-committing or saying yes when you mean no. (We all do it!)
That sets the stage for some gentle, compassionate goal-setting. This is a place of quiet reflection, but we have frameworks and toolkits to help you set goals that align with your values and protect what you’re not willing to sacrifice. Sleep. Joy. Boundaries. Time with loved ones. This is mindset in action, without overwhelm.
Your launchpad for financial wellness
The Little Book makes a great first step on your journey through Verve Learn, because it does something most financial education skips: it builds self-trust, and gives you the quiet headspace to optimise your money mindset.
Finish all the exercises, and you’ll have a clear picture of…
what matters to you
what drains you
what you want to change
what kind of future you’re working toward
That’s the kind of clarity you need to power up your money mindset powerful. From there, learning practical skills like budgeting, goal-setting and financial planning becomes less intimidating and more meaningful. You’re no longer learning ‘because you should’, you’re learning to connect to your values and your future.
Financial confidence grows from understanding yourself first.
My Little Book of Verve is an invitation to pause, reflect and reset – so when you do start thinking about your finances, you’re doing it from a place of intention and clarity, not anxiety.
This is where the journey starts. Not with numbers. With you.
