Why did I receive a Significant Event Notice about changes affecting my account? (April 2025)

That important notice we sent you was to let you know about changes to bring you a range of new ethical investment options, a new coaching offer and lower total costs. Read more here.

What’s the stitch?

Verve Super transferred from the Future Super Fund to the Smart Future Trust on May 23 2025 via something called a successor fund transfer. Basically, this occured to make administration more efficient so cost savings can be passed onto members, and so that more of your money is invested in things like companies leading on gender equity, climate solutions and social impact projects.

Verve members now have access to six new ethical investment options, with the same values-based screens you love, and our in-house financial coaching service.

Verve's values and screening remain the same. Verve Super was founded for women and gender diverse people, and we remain committed to our mission to invest your superannuation savings for a more equitable and ethical society.

So what do I need to do?

You need to do one important thing: forward a letter to your employer informing them of Verve Super’s new details.

Why? As part of the transfer, our unique superannuation identifier (USI) is changing. That’s the number that tells employers which fund to pay superannuation guarantee payments to for their employees. This number is essential to make sure your super ends up in the right place.

During the changes, some services will be temporarily unavailable. We’ve put all the key dates, frequently asked questions and the nitty gritty detail in the Notice on our website. We’re here if you need us, just contact us.
