Changes to the Trustee of the Smart Future Trust (the Fund)

From 1 November 2026 (Effective Date) the Trustee of the Fund will change from Equity Trustees Superannuation Limited (ETSL) (ABN 50 055 641 757, AFSL 229757, RSE Licence L0001458) to Stewarda Pty Ltd (Stewarda) (ABN 56 098 527 256, AFSL 236049, RSE Licence L0000185). This change is subject to final board and regulatory approval, and this website will be updated if this changes.

It’s important to know that the change in Trustee will not change your membership in the Fund or the benefits you hold in the Fund.

From the Effective Date, Stewarda will be responsible for managing the Fund, including making trustee decisions, overseeing service providers, complying with superannuation laws and acting in members' best financial interests.

The change of Trustee itself does not affect:

· your product in the Fund;

· your account balance;

· the fees and costs you pay;

· your investment options;

· your beneficiary nominations;

· your insurance cover (if you have insurance through the Fund);

· the way your account is administered;

· how you access your account; or

· your ability to make contributions or withdrawals in accordance with the Fund rules.

You do not need to do anything as a result of this change. Any existing instructions you have in place will continue after the change unless you choose to change them through our usual processes.

The Fund will continue to be regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). From the Effective Date, Stewarda will be the RSE licensee and Trustee of the Fund and will hold the relevant licences required to operate the Fund, subject to the required regulatory approvals.

From the Effective Date, the legal details of the Trustee will change as follows. These details will also be reflected in updated disclosure documents:

From the Effective Date, Product Disclosure Statements (PDSs), Guides and other Fund documents will refer to Stewarda Pty Ltd as the Trustee of the Fund. Updated documents will be available on our website.

Some documents will continue to refer to Equity Trustees Superannuation Limited as the Trustee where they relate to periods before the Effective Date. These documents will remain available for historical and/or regulatory purposes.
